REQUEST QUOTE The Bombardier Global 5000 is the junior model in the Global range. The Global 5000 is capable of travelling up to 9,630 kilometres without landing at a cruising speed of 900 km/h. The appearance of the Global 5000 features all of Bombardier's trademark features - the T-shaped tail, the recognisable shape of the portholes, the wing tips and the overall sweeping silhouette. Powerful Rolls-Royce engines provide a climb rate of more than one kilometre per minute. The considerable thrust capability also allows you to fly out of airports with short runways and to hire a private jet to fly to even more airports. With this rapid take-off, you do not have to worry about sudden pressure drops - the supercharging system perfectly compensates for the pressure drop overboard. The dimensions of the passenger compartment meet the accepted standards in the ultra-long range class. In the forward part there is a kitchen for heating and serving food and drinks. The passenger cabin is divided into 2 zones with a total capacity of 13 seats. The sofa and pair of armchairs can be transformed into full-fledged sleeping places, which is convenient for complete rest in long-distance flights. In the tail section there is a toilet and luggage compartment with access from the cabin. Premium quality cabin materials, lighting control system, zoned climate system, Airshow system and entertainment system are all designed to make your flight comfortable and enjoyable.
With a lower take-off weight than the Global 6000, the Global 5000 leaves the impression of a sports car, with an easy climb of 13,100 metres and a cruising speed of Mach 0.84. The use of higher echelons saves either fuel or time by using more rarefied air.

The Global 5000 is currently out of production. It has been replaced by the Global 5500 in Bombardier's range of long-range business jets. On the secondary market, the price of a 2014-built Global 5000 is about $24 million and depends on flight hours since the beginning of operation, general technical condition, installed equipment and additional options.

Global 5000 was in production from 2005 to 2019, when was replaced by a new model Global 5500. 238 Global 5000 have been manufactured. 2005 – 2012 aircraft are price from 10 to 20 million USD, depending on year of manufacture, flight hours and landing cycles since new, maintenance history and overall condition. In 2012 there was an upgrade in avionics and models after 2012 are more valuable on the market. In this segment prices are from 22 to 36 million USD.
Global 5000 can fly around 8 to 9 hours. However, actual flight length depends on the route, number of passengers and luggage, weather conditions en-route and cruise speed.
Main difference between these two models is the flight range – 9,630 kilometers for Global 5000 and 11,112 kilometers for Global 6000. Global 6000 also has a slightly longer passenger cabin and more sophisticated avionics set - Bombardier Vision Flight Deck.
Maximum cruise speed of Global 5000 is 944 kilometers per hour. However, actual cruise speed can be lower on flights that are close to maximum flight range, as lower cruise speed will make possible to safe fuel.
An hour charter rate on Global 5000 is from €7,000 to €9,000. Actual price depends on the route, number of passengers, price of fuel, airport charges and additional services required. New York – London will generally cost 65,000 euro, Paris – Dubai around 60,000 euro.
