REQUEST QUOTE The Global 5500 private jet is based on the previous Global 5000 model, but has undergone a number of significant changes. The Global 5500 project was presented to the public in May 2018. By the end of 2019, type certificates were obtained in the US and Europe, and deliveries to owners around the Globe started.

On the technical part, the main changes concerned the engines, avionics and equipment of the cockpit and wings. The Bombardier Global 5500 is powered by Rolls-Royce BR710 Pearl engines. Engineers also developed a new wing shape, which, together with the engines, enabled the aircraft to achieve good cruising speed, range, manoeuvrability and fuel efficiency. Compared to the previous model, the maximum range has increased by as much as 1,300 kilometres to 10,927 kilometres.
The main innovation in the cockpit is the Bombardier Vision system. This is the first truly combined vision system to be installed on a production aircraft, which combines an enhanced and reconstructed image of the terrain in the display.
The design of the passenger cabin is completely renewed and looks really modern and new. The anatomy and appearance of the passenger seats has been changed and they are called Nuage. The seats can still be transformed into sleeper seats. The cabin is divided into three zones: two club areas, with individual and twin seats, and a bedroom area. The lavatory is now more correctly called a bathroom, as it now has a shower cubicle. On board the private jet, for the first time, there is a chaise lounge on which to relax while enjoying the views or reading a book. The entertainment system is equipped with 4K quality screens. Internet access during the flight is via a broadband connection.
