In developing the Challenger 604, engineers and designers updated the Challenger 601, a model that had already been commercially successful for many years. The 604 was fitted with a state-of-the-art avionics system, new engines, and additional fuel tanks. This allowed to increase the flight range and make flight operations safer.
The cabin design was also updated, it became quieter and there were new entertainment systems. The seats, which is standard for this class, can be transformed into sleeping places and can be fully rested in flight. The height of the cabin is enough to stretch out during a long flight. In the forward part there is a kitchen and a wardrobe for outerwear. At the tail end is the lavatory and luggage compartment - sealed and accessible during the flight.
The cabin design was also updated, it became quieter and there were new entertainment systems.
