The most popular and practical cabin layout is for 13 seats, which can be converted into 6 berths. This is convenient when renting a private jet for long flights, when it is necessary to provide passengers with a full rest on board. The forward kitchen has enough space for everything - catering, an impressive bar, a full set of crockery and cutlery, as well as comfortable serving dishes for all passengers.

Legacy 650 was in production from 2010 to 2020. 104 aircraft were introduced into operation in that period. Price starts at around 12 million USD for the 2012 year of manufacture jet. 2019 Legacy 650 has a price tag of 17 million USD.
Maximum flight range is 6,000 kilometers. Actual flight range will differ according to the flight route, number of passengers, wind en-route, weight of luggage and cruise speed.
Maximum cruise speed is 780 kilometers per hour. Actual cruise speed may differ, depending on duration of a flight, altitude and payload.
From the passengers point of view main difference is in cabin – it was re-designed and updated in terms of climate and light systems, entertainment and pressure control system.
Although jets have same passenger capacity, Challenger 850 is a more regional jet in terms of maximum flight range. Legacy 650 can be used for transcontinental flights, connecting with direct flights such cities as London and Dubai.
