REQUEST QUOTE What made the Legacy 600 private jet so popular were two distinctive features - the size of the cabin and luggage compartment combined with the low purchase and operating costs. Legacy 600 was presented for the first time in 2000 at the Farnborough exhibition. In 2002 the type certificate was received. Embraer Aerospace Corporation is third in the world in terms of deliveries, behind only Boeing and Airbus.

The cabin is long, which gives a sense of space, and the high ceiling makes it easy to walk around the cabin and stretch out during the flight. The 22 portholes further visually maximise the space. The standard layout with 13 seats is the most common and has proven its convenience and practicality over the years. The cabin comfortably accommodates the whole family. The passenger cabin of the Legacy 600 consists of two saloons, which allows you to relax or discuss business. In the forward part there is a full kitchen with the possibility of preparing to serve food and drinks for all passengers. Often on medium and long-haul flights the crew is supplemented with a second flight attendant for more efficient service. It is reasonable to do it when the number of passengers is 7 and more, as it is simply impossible to serve 12 passengers operatively by one person.
The cabin is also convenient for corporate flights. In the layout, in addition to the club zone, there is a zone of twin seats and a separate zone with a sofa, separated by a wooden partition.
The individual seats can be transformed into sleeping berths. In the ‘night’ configuration the Embraer Legacy 600 cabin is designed for 6 full-size berths. Taking into account the possibility of refuelling without disembarking passengers, this business jet is convenient to use for long routes with one refuelling, for example, to the Maldives, Singapore or the USA.
In the tail section of the Legacy 600 there is a luggage compartment with a volume of 5 cubic metres, which can safely accommodate any luggage - skis, snowboards, suitcases in large quantities, etc. Even most of the representatives of the senior class ultra-long range cannot boast such volume.

Legacy 600 was in production from 2002 to 2010. Pre-owned models start from 7 million USD up to 15 million USD for the late production years, like 2009 – 2010. Price depends on year of manufacture, total flight hours and landings since new, maintenance history, region of operation and passenger cabin condition.
Legacy 600 can be called a reliable aircraft. All technologies used in the aircraft were well tested up to the moment of production. Aircraft is certified by both Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). There are Health Monitoring Systems to track engines and systems performances and allows to detect potential issues at early stages.
Maximum flight range of Legacy 600 is around 6,000 kilometers which makes possible to stay in the air for 6 to 7 hours. It depends on number of passengers and luggage weight, weather conditions and flight route.
The main differences are the engines (Rolls-Royce AE 3007A2 on Legacy 600 and Rolls-Royce AE 3007A1E Legacy 650), set of avionics and re-designed passenger cabin.
Maximum cruise speed is 780 kilometers per hour. However, cruise speed on actual flight depends on the route (cruise speed is lower to save fuel), weather conditions and altitude of the flight.
