Václav Havel International Airport (Letiště Václava Havla Praha) is the main airport of the Czech capital. The airport is located 12 kilometres from the centre of Prague. Opened in 1937, the airport underwent modernisations and expansions in 1956, 1968, 1997 and 2006.
