Athens International Airport serves the capital of Greece and the entire Attica region. The airport is located 35 kilometres from the city centre. The airport was opened in 2001 and was built to coincide with the 2004 Summer Olympics.
The airport has two runways, 3,800 and 4,000 metres long. This allows to receive any model of private aircraft, including wide-body VIP airliners, such as Airbus Corporate Jet.
A separate terminal was built to serve business jet passengers. You will not meet any random people in it, which ensures a high level of privacy. All pre-flight formalities are organised as quickly as possible and it is enough to arrive at the terminal 30 minutes before departure.
