InterContinental Dublin
The InterContinental Dublin is located in the prestigious Ballsbridge district, close to Dublin city centre. The elegant six-storey red-brick mansion is surrounded by shady parks, flowering gardens and charming ivy-covered houses. The rooms are exquisitely furnished with antique furniture, upholstered sofas, lacquered coffee tables and carved-back chairs. Crystal chandeliers, expensive carpets and floral compositions created by the famous florist Rosalind Eckerley complete the interiors. The InterContinental Dublin has one of the largest private collections of contemporary Irish art. For example, in the ICE bar visitors can not only taste famous Irish whiskey or speciality cocktails, but also admire the works of such famous Irish artists as Liam Belton, Barry Cook and Tony O'Malley.
Conrad Dublin
The Conrad Dublin is located in the heart of the city centre, next to the lovely St Stephen's Green Park, opposite the National Concert Hall, and close to Trinity College, the National Art Gallery and the National Museum. The spacious, bright, well-appointed rooms are classically styled and decorated in pastel colours. Dine at the Alex Restaurant, which specialises in seafood dishes, and spend the evening at Alfie Byrne's, an authentic Irish pub.
Dylan Hotel
The elegant Dylan Hotel is located in Dublin city centre, a 10-minute walk from Grafton Street and St James's Green. Ballsbridge and Trinity College are nearby. The interior design of all 44 rooms is eclectic, combining antique furniture with modern accessories, ornate wallpaper patterns contrasting with large geometric designs on carpets and upholstery. The rooms are decorated in different colour schemes: burgundy, lettuce, beige. The Dylan Restaurant, which has a lovely outdoor terrace, serves Irish cuisine and the bar serves speciality cocktails.
The Merrion
The Merrion is a fashionable hotel located in the heart of Dublin city centre. The Mergion combines the modern Garden Wing building with four historic Georgian-style buildings built in the second half of the 18th century by Lord Monck. The elegant interiors, in light pastel colours, recreate the decoration of an aristocratic Irish house of the XVIII century: handmade curtains on large windows, soft carpeting on the floors, gilt-framed mirrors, antique fireplaces and decorations, antique furniture and original works of art.
Near the hotel there is a beautifully landscaped garden with hedges, miniature ponds and fountains, picturesque paths and park sculptures. Irish cuisine can be savoured in the hotel's two restaurants, one of which, Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, has been awarded two Michelin stars. The Merrion also has an excellent SPA centre offering face and body treatments based on ESPA cosmetics.
