Hong Kong International Airport is located on land reclaimed from the sea. The airport was opened in 1998 and all traffic from Kaitak Airport (Hong Kong's main airport from 1925 to 1998) was relocated here. The approach pattern at Kaitak Airport was one of the most difficult and dangerous in the world, so the decision was made to build a new, safer airport.
Hong Kong's airport is the seventh busiest in the world. Two asphalt runways 3800 metres long can accommodate any private aircraft. A dedicated business aviation centre was built to service private aircraft. The complex includes a separate apron for aircraft parking, hangars for storage and maintenance, and a dedicated VIP terminal.
Private jet charter prices are shown for informational purposes to provide an estimated price level for the specified route and jet model. The actual price for a specific flight may be lower or higher, depending on the season and current market situation.
