Private Charter Solutions
There are two international airports near Rome: Fiumicino Airport and Ciampino Airport.
Fiumicino Airport
Rome-Fiumicino International Airport (Aeroporto Internazionale di Roma–Fiumicino), named in honour of the world-famous painter and inventor Leonardo da Vinci, is located 30 kilometres from Rome city centre. Opened in 1961, the airport currently operates four runways and has four passenger terminals, primarily serving scheduled flights. Due to heavy scheduled traffic, securing slots for private jet flights is possible only if Ciampino Airport is closed. Even then, there are several limitations for private jet flights at Fiumicino, including restricted landing and take-off times, as well as limited access to certain airport facilities.
Ciampino Airport
Rome-Ciampino International Airport (Aeroporto Internazionale di Roma-Ciampino "G. B. Pastine") was opened in 1916 and is located just 15 kilometres from Rome city centre. This convenient location allows for quick and easy travel between the airport and the city. Ciampino handles internal scheduled flights, group charter flights and private jet flights. It features a dedicated VIP terminal for private jet passengers, offering all necessary facilities and services, including fast-track customs and immigration, private lounges and direct access to ground transportation. The airport's compact size and specialised services make it an ideal choice for private jet travellers looking for efficiency and comfort.
