La Torre del Saracino
At La Torre del Saracino, with 2 Michelin stars Chef Gennaro Esposito prepares exquisite sea and sushi dishes framed by a beautiful eighth century AD tower. Ancient and modern blend beautifully in a contemporary and traditional decor. The dishes follow the seasonality of local produce and are an expression of the chef's genius. Each dish is very refined and among the dishes on the menu are orange corbara soup with green river chilli stuffed with moray eel , squid and bottarga; paccheri with white turnip mousse, eel and green sauce and lamb latitzauda with caramelised nocerino green onion cream and black olive tapenade.
Don Alfonso 1890
Historical restaurant between the coasts of Sorrento and Amalfi Don Alfonso 1890 was run for decades by the Iaccarino family, whose current descendant is Ernesto. The restaurant is very elegant, with coloured Vietri majolica on the walls, exquisite chandeliers. You can also stay in the luxury villa next door. The cuisine is mainly based on fish, typical dishes of the Neapolitan tradition are revised and modernised and there is one constant search for new flavours, The dish that has made the restaurant famous is the seafood soup with seasonal fruits and vegetables, a riot of clams, mussels, tuna tartare, courgette, courgette, kiwi and many other ingredients. Another must is the spaghettoni with mozzarella, lupini and burnt garlic, which is reminiscent of the most traditional spaghetti with clams.
Palazzo Petrucci
