The Gulfstream G450 private jet is the successor to the legendary Gulfstream IV, which was produced from 1983 to 2003 and is still widely operated in the United States. In 2004, the Gulfstream G450 received type certification from the FAA and the first deliveries to owners began. The secret of the success of the G450 in an impressive range (just over 8,000 kilometres) and a truly luxurious and functional cabin. The most common layout is for 14 seats, but there are also layouts from 12 to 16 seats. The cabin consists of two passenger zones, separated from each other by a wooden partition with a door.

Even tall passengers can comfortably walk through the cabin during the flight - the ceiling height is 1.88 metres. Light-coloured finishes combined with huge oval portholes further visually increase the volume of the cabin and fill it with natural light. New-generation noise insulation combined with a noise cancellation system has reduced noise levels by 18 per cent compared to the previous model.
The forward kitchen offers everything you would expect to find in a VIP private jet kitchen: a warming oven, coffee maker, full sink, refrigerator and freezer, ice maker, special compartments for storing crockery, cutlery and crystal. As additional options on the Gulfstream G450 could be installed equipment for satellite phone service, broadband Internet connection with speeds up to 3.5 Mbps and to watch satellite TV. But this equipment is not found on all aircraft, as the price of these options at the time of purchase of a new aircraft was about 1.2 million USD.
The Gulfstream G450 can fly at an altitude of over 13,000 metres, which is above regular traffic and weather conditions. With maximum fuel load, the G450 outperforms the Challenger 605 and Falcon 900EX in terms of possible commercial payload. In other words, the G450 can take on more passengers and luggage.
In the development of the Gulfstream G450, many technologies and elements were borrowed from the senior model Gulfstream G550, for example, the cockpit is almost identical. The Gulfstream G450 is equipped with Honeywell Primus Epic PlaneView avionics, information is displayed on 4 displays and clearly informs pilots about the status of onboard systems and the course of the flight.
