This concept is reflected in the name, which is digitally similar to the older Global family of long-haul aircraft - the cabin features Nuage seats adapted in size from the older model.

Bombardier's new philosophy is to ensure that the passenger receives an equal level of comfort and the models, in fact, differ fundamentally in range and cabin dimensions.
The main changes in the Challenger 3500 are in the passenger cabin: the automatic cabin pressure control system has been redesigned, allowing higher cabin pressure to be maintained throughout the flight, equal to being at an altitude of 600 metres; voice control of cabin temperature, entertainment functions and lighting has been introduced; the cabin lighting scheme has been redesigned; a compartment for storing and displaying crystal and a special wine storage system with a transparent door have been added to the kitchen area; and a special system for storing wine with a transparent door has been added for viewing the cabin lights.
The Challenger 3500 with four passengers on board has an estimated range of 6,297 kilometres at a cruising speed of Mach 0.77. Like previous models, the Challenger 3500 is planned to be certified for landings at airports with steep glide paths, such as London City and Aspen. Bombardier claims that they have achieved best-in-class cabin sound insulation. The Challenger 3500 also has the widest cabin in its class.
