The Gulfstream G280's cabin is one of the largest and most comfortable in its class. The cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people, including those of taller stature, which is made possible by the increased cabin height (1.92 m) compared to other aircraft of this class. Noise insulation is so good that during take-off you can talk without raising your voice. The cabin width is only 5 centimetres narrower than the Gulfstream G550.

Interesting, it was originally planned to designate the new model as the G250, but due to the negative image of the number 250 in Chinese culture, it was decided to rename the model as the G280.
