A flight test programme began in December 2016, during which four test aircraft spent 3,150 hours in the air and made 840 take-offs and landings. In June 2019, type certification was obtained in the United States and customer deliveries began in August. The Gulfstream G600 is the epitome of speed and luxury. Cruising speeds can reach up to 982 kilometres per hour when flying. The maximum range is more than 12,000 kilometres.

The passenger cabin looks really impressive. The spacious cabin is 1.88 metres high - even a tall person will find it comfortable to walk around the cabin during the flight. The interior of the G600 can be described by the phrase ‘premium functionality’. Comfortable armchairs can be easily transformed into sleeping places for a good rest.
