The Learjet 60 XR's comfortable and well-designed cabin is conducive to both efficient on-board operations and pleasant relaxation, making it suitable for ordering for all types of flights. A full-size kitchen is located in the forward section, while the tail section houses the lavatory, through which there is access to the luggage compartment. The lavatory is separated from the cabin by a wooden partition and door.
The Learjet 60 XR is an improved and refined version of the Learjet 60. The development of the new model began in 2005, and in 2007 the FAA (USA) type certificate was obtained. The XR version was equipped with a new for those times avionics complex Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21, redesigned passenger cabin and climate control system, new Pratt & Whitney Canada PW300A engines, which are 15% more economical than the previously installed engines. More than 600 business jets have been produced since the Learjet 60 family was launched from 1993.

Most common passenger cabin layout is designed for 6 seats – 4 club seat zone and 2 additional seats in front part. Sometimes there is an extra 7th seat in front that leaves less space for catering storage and preparation.
