Private Jet Charter Bristol

Vector Jet arranges private jet charter to and from Bristol Airport (BRS) and other airports in the South West — for business trips, Glastonbury, the Badminton Horse Trials, the Cheltenham Festival, weekends in Bath and the Cotswolds, and flights with pets. Send us your route, date and number of passengers, and within an hour you receive 2–3 aircraft options with an all-inclusive price. Our charter managers speak English, German, French and Spanish.

Private flights at Bristol Airport use the Centreline terminal on the south side of the airfield, with its own lounges, security, customs and passport control, so you never pass through the main terminal. The drive to the city centre takes about 25–30 minutes, and to Bath about 40 minutes.

Private Jet Prices from Bristol

Indicative one-way prices for the whole aircraft, in GBP. Your final quote depends on your dates, aircraft availability and repositioning — the cost of flying the aircraft empty to Bristol if it is based elsewhere. Send us your trip details and we will confirm the exact price.

Bristol Airport (BRS) for Private Jets

Bristol Airport is the main airport for private flights in the South West of England. It sits on the edge of the Mendip Hills, 12 km south of the city, and is the closest airport to Bath, Glastonbury and much of Somerset.

Private terminal. Private jet passengers use Centreline, the business aviation terminal on the south side of the airfield. It is open 24 hours a day, with two passenger lounges, its own security screening and on-site customs and passport control, so you can arrive 20 minutes before departure and never pass through the main terminal.

Runway and long-haul flights. The single runway is 2,011 m (6,598 ft) long — ample for light, midsize and super midsize jets. For a heavy jet on a long-haul flight, such as Dubai or New York, it can limit the take-off weight, so the aircraft may depart with less fuel and stop on the way, or we may suggest Cardiff, 50 minutes away, which has a longer runway.

Slots and night flights. Between 23:30 and 06:00 flights operate under a night quota (a cap on the number and noise of night flights), and the noisiest aircraft cannot use the airport at night. We request your slot together with the booking, so a late departure after an event needs to be planned in advance.

Bristol Airport suits most private flights, but for some events and longer flights another airfield is a better fit — or a helicopter saves the drive altogether.

Private Jets for Festivals, Racing and Rugby

The West Country hosts some of Britain’s best-known summer events, and Bristol Airport is the closest airport to most of them.

Glastonbury Festival. At the end of June, Bristol Airport is the nearest airport to Worthy Farm, about 27 km away. Roads around the site are notoriously slow during the festival, so many guests land at Bristol and complete the journey by helicopter in about 12 minutes. Aircraft, parking and helicopters are in short supply that week, so book early.

Badminton Horse Trials and polo. Badminton in May and the summer polo season at Beaufort near Tetbury are within an hour of the airport; Cotswold Airport at Kemble is closer for light jets.

The Cheltenham Festival. Four days of jump racing in March. Gloucestershire Airport is about ten minutes from the racecourse; from Bristol Airport the drive takes about 1 hour 10 minutes.

Balloon Fiesta and rugby. The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta fills the skies over Ashton Court every August, and Bath Rugby at the Rec and Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate draw crowds through the winter.

Same-day return. For a race day, a match or a meeting, a same-day return is often better value than two one-way flights, because the aircraft waits for you instead of flying back empty.

Flying with Pets

Dogs, cats and ferrets can fly in the cabin with you. Bringing a pet into Great Britain is strictly regulated — we check the rules for every flight.

Arriving in the UK at Bristol
• Pets can arrive at Bristol only on a private or charter flight: no scheduled airline is approved for pets into Bristol. The aircraft operator must be approved for pet travel on the route into Bristol, and your pet is checked at the airport before it is released to you.
• Microchip — implanted before the rabies vaccination.
• Rabies vaccination — at least 21 days before travel (after the primary vaccination).
• Document: a pet passport issued in the EU (or Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Gibraltar, Vatican), or a Great Britain pet health certificate signed by an official vet — entry within 10 days of issue.
• Dogs: tapeworm treatment by a vet no less than 24 hours and no more than 5 days before arrival.
• No approved route is needed for flights within the UK or from Ireland. If the rules are not met, your pet may be placed in quarantine for up to four months.

Flying from Bristol to the EU
• You need an Animal Health Certificate from your vet: valid for 10 days for entry into the EU, then 6 months for onward travel within the EU and for re-entry to Great Britain. A GB-issued pet passport is not accepted for entry into the EU.

Tell your charter manager about your pet when you request a quote — not every operator accepts pets, and we plan the route around it.

Private Jet Charter Bristol: FAQ

The price is driven mainly by the aircraft and the route: a turboprop or light jet to London, Jersey, Guernsey or Dublin is the most affordable option, while flights to Dubai or New York need a heavy jet. See the indicative prices in GBP in the table above. The final price also reflects your dates and repositioning (flying the aircraft empty to Bristol if it is based elsewhere); UK Air Passenger Duty is already included in our quotes. Vector Jet sends exact options within an hour.
Private jet passengers use Centreline, the business aviation terminal on the south side of the airport. It is open 24 hours a day, with two passenger lounges, its own security screening and on-site customs and passport control, so you can arrive 20 minutes before departure.
