Bolzano Airport (BZO) for Private Jets

Bolzano Airport lies just south of the city in the Adige valley and is the only airport in South Tyrol. It handles mostly business aviation and a small number of regional flights, so arrivals and departures are quick and quiet.

Private terminal. Private passengers use the general aviation terminal, where the airport's handling service looks after passengers and crews. For flights from outside the Schengen area, such as London, passport and customs checks are arranged in advance.

The runway is 1,432 m (4,698 ft) long and the approach passes through a narrow mountain valley, so the airport suits light and midsize jets such as the Citation M2, Citation CJ3+, Phenom 300 and Citation XLS+, and we check that the aircraft and crew are approved for this landing. Demand for private flights to Bolzano peaks in the ski season and in summer, and so do prices and aircraft availability.

Ski season. From December to early April the Dolomites resorts of Val Gardena, Alta Badia and Cortina d'Ampezzo are in high season, with Christmas, New Year and February half-term the peak weeks. Cortina d'Ampezzo, which co-hosted the 2026 Winter Olympics, is about 2 hours away by car.

Summer. From June to September the Dolomites draw hikers, cyclists and wine lovers to South Tyrol, and many guests combine a stay in the mountains with a few days on the coast — Olbia is about 1 h 20 away by private jet.

Multileg trips. You can combine Bolzano with Munich, Salzburg, Klagenfurt or Milan in one multileg private jet trip: we plan all flights together and quote one total price.
